Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at intakesenior.com (the “Site”) and the senior care advisor services offered by Intake Senior (the “Service”). By using the Site or the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or the Service.

Intake Senior is a senior care advisor service. We collect information about your loved one’s situation through a five-question intake form and a follow-up conversation. We then provide a written care plan and may recommend senior living communities, in-home care agencies, geriatric care managers, elder-law attorneys, or other resources.

We are not a medical, legal, or financial advisor. Our recommendations are based on industry experience and on the information you provide. They do not constitute medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or insurance advice. You should consult licensed professionals in those fields before making decisions that have medical, legal, or financial consequences.

You may use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes related to evaluating senior care for yourself or a member of your family. You agree to provide accurate information when you complete our intake form or contact us, and to update that information if it changes.

You agree not to: (a) use the Service in violation of any law or regulation; (b) use the Service to harass, abuse, or defame any person; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems; (d) scrape, copy, or reproduce the Site’s content for commercial purposes; or (e) interfere with the operation of the Site or the Service.

When you submit your contact information, you agree that we and the senior living communities or care providers we match you with may contact you by phone, text message, and email about your inquiry and about other senior care services. Outreach may be auto-dialed or use pre-recorded or artificial voice. Your consent is not a condition to using the Service. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP to a text message, by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing admin@intakesenior.com. Required service-related communications (such as confirmations and case follow-up) are not subject to opt-out.

We may receive a referral fee from senior living communities, in-home care agencies, or other care providers when you select one based on our recommendation. We disclose this on the Site and on the call. We do not accept payment that is tied to placement volume in a way that would create an incentive to recommend the wrong setting. You may also choose to engage us directly on a fee-for-service basis with no community-paid referral fee involved.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intake Senior disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information provided is complete, accurate, or current.

We do not control the senior living communities, agencies, attorneys, or other third parties we may refer you to. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, services, or pricing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intake Senior, its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

The Site, including all text, layout, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Intake Senior and protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from the Site for personal, non-commercial use only.

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Site. The revised version is effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site or the Service after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
