What's your monthly budget for private-pay care?
Heads-up: Most senior care is private pay. Medicare and Medicaid do not pay for room and board in assisted living or memory care. Medicaid only covers skilled nursing for those who qualify financially, and most communities don't accept it. Answer with what your family could pay out of pocket each month.
