1. Who we are

Intake Senior is a senior care advisor service operated by Intake Senior LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our website at intakesenior.com (the “Site”) and our advisor service (the “Service”).

By using the Site or the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Site or the Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you complete the five-question intake form, we collect your name, email address, and phone number (if you provide one), along with your answers about budget, timeline, insurance coverage, level of care needed, and extreme care needs. When you use the contact form or email us, we collect the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs your IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, and the pages you visit. This information is used to operate and secure the Site.

Cookies. We don’t use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance.

3. How we use information

We use the information you give us to:

  • provide the advisor service — read your intake, contact you, and prepare a written care plan;
  • match you with senior living communities, in-home care agencies, geriatric care managers, or other resources, with your consent;
  • send confirmation and follow-up emails and, with your consent, text messages and calls;
  • respond to your questions sent through the contact form or by email;
  • improve the Service and the Site;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

4. How we share information

We share your information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.

  • With matched care providers, with your consent. When we recommend a specific senior living community, in-home agency, or other provider, we share the minimum information needed to schedule a tour or evaluation. We will tell you who we’re sending information to and why before we send it.
  • With service providers who run our infrastructure. Our website is hosted on Vercel. Transactional email is sent through Resend. These vendors process information on our behalf under contracts that require them to protect it.
  • For legal reasons. If required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
  • In a business transfer. If we sell or transfer the Service, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance.

5. Communications and consent

When you submit your contact information, you consent to receive emails, text messages, and phone calls from us and from the care providers we match you with, including auto-dialed or pre-recorded calls and marketing messages, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Your consent is not a condition to using the Service. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP to a text, clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or emailing admin@intakesenior.com. Service-related communications (e.g., a confirmation of your inquiry) are not subject to opt-out.

6. Data retention

We retain the information you provide for as long as needed to provide the Service and for a reasonable period afterward to maintain records of the work we did together, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion at any time by emailing admin@intakesenior.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information; to data portability; and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@intakesenior.com. We will respond within thirty days.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what categories of information we collect, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is intended for adults seeking care for themselves or a member of their family. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under eighteen. If you believe we have collected information from a child under eighteen, please email admin@intakesenior.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be communicated by email when we have a record of an active relationship with you.
